Atropos Health

Atropos Health is a Stanford-spinout, New York / Bay Area real-world evidence (RWE) company founded in 2020 by Nigam Shah, Brigham Hyde, and Saurabh Gombar to close the medical "evidence gap" by converting routine healthcare data into publication-grade observational studies in minutes instead of months. Its flagship platform GENEVA OS (Generative Evidence Acceleration Operating System) is a federated, cloud-agnostic operating system that installs behind the customer's firewall, ingests longitudinal patient records as in-memory patient-timeline objects, and exposes a Temporal Query Language (TQL) and Advanced Cohort Engine (ACE) for rapid observational analyses without moving PHI. On top of GENEVA OS, Atropos offers ChatRWD, a conversational chat-to-database application that generates full observational studies from natural-language clinical questions, the Atropos Evidence Agent (an agentic AI deployed at Stanford Health Care and developed in collaboration with Microsoft to surface RWE directly inside clinical workflows and notes), Green Button (the original on-demand consult-style evidence service that gave rise to the company), Forge (study automation), and Alexandria, marketed as the world's largest body of precision evidence-based findings with 33M+ entries used for clinical decision support and LLM training. The company sells into health systems (pharmacy, research informatics, value-based care, GME) and life sciences (brand planning, HEOR, medical affairs, R&D, commercial analytics, precision-medicine AI/ML), is backed by Valtruis, Emerson Collective, Breyer Capital, McKinsey Ventures, Cencora Ventures, Presidio Ventures, Merck Global Health Innovation, Samsung Next, and others, and partners with Stanford Health Care, Mayo Clinic Platform, and Microsoft. Atropos has no public developer API, SDK, or open-source release; GENEVA OS, TQL, ACE, ChatRWD, and the Evidence Agent are proprietary enterprise software delivered under contract to health-system and life-sciences customers, and the company's public GitHub org contains only forks (FAISS, HELM, security-policy-templates, terraform-aws-github-runner) and a small number of internal research notebooks rather than any shippable client library.

human only

Index entry only — little beyond a description and a link, and nothing machine-readable enough for an agent to act on without a human reading the site first.

Kin Score

API Evangelist profiles Atropos Health the way a machine reads it — 1 machine-readable artifact, pulled from the provider's own public surface and indexed so a developer, an analyst, or an AI agent can evaluate it against every other provider on the network.

Every provider in the network is reduced to the same set of machine-readable artifacts — OpenAPI contracts, event specifications, GraphQL schemas, runnable collections, pricing and rate-limit signals, security posture, OAuth scopes, and the agent surfaces (MCP servers and skills) that let software drive the API on its own. We profile them because the interface is the part of a company you can actually inspect: it is a truer signal of what a provider does than any marketing page. From those artifacts we compute the Kin Score — Atropos Health scores 6.3/100 (minimal), with a separate agent-readiness read of 0/100 (human only). The full breakdown is below, followed by every artifact we hold — each card links through to its machine-readable definition on apis.io.

Kin Score

This is the API Evangelist rating — a single, repeatable read computed from the artifacts on this page. Green fill is points earned; the red track is points possible, so every bar shows earned-versus-possible at a glance.

Where this information came from

This is an independent, third-party profile of Atropos Health, published by API Evangelist. We do not operate, host, resell, or support these APIs, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the company unless stated above. Everything here is built from publicly available information — the company's own site, developer portal, documentation, public repositories, and the specifications it publishes for public use. Nothing is obtained by breaching a system, defeating an access control, or using credentials.

The Kin Score and Agent Readiness rating are independently calculated assessments of a company's public API artifacts, scored against a published rubric. They are not certifications, endorsements, security assessments, or audits.

Corrections, re-scores, and removal are free — no partnership or purchase required, and you do not need to justify the request. A removed company is recorded as unrated, never scored zero for having asked. Acknowledgement within one business day; removal within two.
