Baton Media
Baton is a music collaboration and IP-management platform for unreleased music, built by Baton Media Inc. (New York, Techstars '23). It gives musicians, producers, managers, and talent scouts tools to securely upload, organize, version, and share unreleased tracks, beat packs, and sample libraries across iOS and web. A proprietary media player shows creators exactly who is listening to their material, while collaboration spaces (private, invite-only, or public), an in-app audio studio (looping, pitch shifting, EQ, effects, sample pairing), and a creator-to-fan marketplace support discovery, placement opportunities, and monetization. Baton is building collaboration protocols to track IP rights and automate crediting and compensation across the creator economy. As of this enrichment the company publishes a consumer product (iOS app + web) with no public API, developer portal, or documentation.
