CDI Corp
CDI Corp (CDI Corporation) is a multidisciplinary engineering and technical resourcing firm founded in Philadelphia in 1950 as Comprehensive Designers, Inc., later listed on the NYSE from 1988 to 2017. After being taken private by AE Industrial Partners in September 2017 for approximately $176M ($8.25 per share), AE divested CDI's aerospace business to Belcan (2017), talent and technology services to Artech (2018), and architecture/engineering subsidiary L.R. Kimball to TranSystems (2021), refocusing the remaining CDI Engineering Solutions on integrated engineering, design, project support, procurement, and construction management for the energy and chemicals industries. On January 1, 2025 CDI Engineering Solutions, LLC became a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Consulting Engineers and now trades as Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, headquartered in Houston, TX with 650+ employees across ten engineering centers. CDI Corp has no public developer APIs; the company delivers engineering services and staff augmentation rather than software products. The tagline carried by the operating business is "Quality Results. Sustainable Solutions. Safely Delivered."
Index entry only — little beyond a description and a link, and nothing machine-readable enough for an agent to act on without a human reading the site first.
API Evangelist profiles CDI Corp the way a machine reads it — 13 machine-readable artifacts, pulled from the provider's own public surface and indexed so a developer, an analyst, or an AI agent can evaluate it against every other provider on the network.
Every provider in the network is reduced to the same set of machine-readable artifacts — OpenAPI contracts, event specifications, GraphQL schemas, runnable collections, pricing and rate-limit signals, security posture, OAuth scopes, and the agent surfaces (MCP servers and skills) that let software drive the API on its own. We profile them because the interface is the part of a company you can actually inspect: it is a truer signal of what a provider does than any marketing page. From those artifacts we compute the Kin Score — CDI Corp scores 6.8/100 (minimal), with a separate agent-readiness read of 0/100 (human only). The full breakdown is below, followed by every artifact we hold — each card links through to its machine-readable definition on apis.io.
Kin Score
This is the API Evangelist rating — a single, repeatable read computed from the artifacts on this page. Green fill is points earned; the red track is points possible, so every bar shows earned-versus-possible at a glance.
