CoreLogic Australia
CoreLogic Australia — trading as Cotality since the 2025 global rebrand, and operating the RP Data platform through RP Data Pty Ltd — is the dominant independent property data, analytics and valuation provider in Australia and New Zealand. It sits in the middle of the Australian property value chain: it aggregates state land-registry and valuer-general records, agent and portal listing campaigns, auction results and rental campaigns into a single property spine, then sells that spine back to banks, mortgage brokers, valuers, insurers, agents and government. Its commercial products include the RP Data / RP Professional desktop, the IntelliVal automated valuation model, the CoreLogic Home Value Index, Cordell construction cost data, Cityscope commercial property data, and the PSX valuation ordering exchange. Its API posture is genuinely developer-facing but commercially licensed: a live Backstage-based Cotality Developer Portal at developer.corelogic.asia offers self-serve signup and self-serve creation of sandbox OAuth clients against a deliberately restricted evaluation dataset with request quotas, while every production API host in the *.api.cotality.com.au family answers 401 "Access token is missing" and requires a signed commercial data licence. Australia has no MLS and no RESO mandate — CoreLogic's RESO Web API and Data Dictionary certifications belong to Trestle, its United States MLS platform, not to this Australian surface. The Australian APIs are proprietary REST/JSON over an Apigee gateway with OAuth 2.0 client credentials; no OData $metadata, no RESO endpoint, and no RESO Universal Property Identifier appears anywhere in the Australian developer portal.
Limited machine-readable signal and partial portal coverage — documentation a human can read, but little a machine or agent can consume without scraping.
API Evangelist profiles CoreLogic Australia the way a machine reads it — 32 machine-readable artifacts across 26 APIs, pulled from the provider's own public surface and indexed so a developer, an analyst, or an AI agent can evaluate it against every other provider on the network.
Every provider in the network is reduced to the same set of machine-readable artifacts — OpenAPI contracts, event specifications, GraphQL schemas, runnable collections, pricing and rate-limit signals, security posture, OAuth scopes, and the agent surfaces (MCP servers and skills) that let software drive the API on its own. We profile them because the interface is the part of a company you can actually inspect: it is a truer signal of what a provider does than any marketing page. From those artifacts we compute the Kin Score — CoreLogic Australia scores 38.6/100 (thin), with a separate agent-readiness read of 39/100 (agent aware). The full breakdown is below, followed by every artifact we hold — each card links through to its machine-readable definition on apis.io.
Kin Score
This is the API Evangelist rating — a single, repeatable read computed from the artifacts on this page. Green fill is points earned; the red track is points possible, so every bar shows earned-versus-possible at a glance.

Each API is captured as its own OpenAPI definition — every operation, parameter, and response. This is the single most useful machine-readable description of what an API does, and it's what lets us score, lint, mock, and generate against it without asking the provider for anything.

Rate Limits 1
Rate limits are the difference between a demo that works and a production integration that doesn't fall over. Publishing them is an operational-transparency signal — and a hard requirement for any agent that plans its own throughput.

Not every API is request/response. AsyncAPI describes the event-driven and streaming side — the webhooks and channels — so the asynchronous half of the interface is documented the same way the synchronous half is.

ASYNCAPISecurity Posture 3
Authentication, domain security, vulnerability disclosure, and trust-center signals — the evidence that a provider takes security seriously enough to document it. We profile it because you can't govern what you can't see.

Scopes 1
OAuth scopes are the vocabulary of least-privilege access. Profiling them shows exactly what an integration — or an agent acting on a user's behalf — is allowed to do.
