FreshDish
FreshDish (Fresh Dish, Inc.) was a Santa Monica meal-kit delivery startup founded in 2012 by Steve Goldstein (formerly SVP/GM at Provide Commerce, the ProFlowers and Shari's Berries operator). Incubated by Science Inc. and seeded with $500,000 from Battery Ventures, it shipped ready-to-cook dinner kits with chef-designed recipes and pre-portioned ingredients (two-person kits at $24, family-of-four at $32, free shipping). The company was deadpooled and is no longer operating; the freshdish.com domain now resolves to a parked/for-sale lander. It was surfaced as a Battery Ventures portfolio company and added to the API Evangelist network as a stub. FreshDish never operated a developer program, public API, or SDKs, so there is no API surface to enrich.
