Hatch Loyalty
Hatch Loyalty (formerly Belly) was a Chicago-based customer activation, loyalty, and engagement platform for enterprise retailers, with a strong focus on the fuel and convenience-store vertical. It aggregated customer data across a retailer's business systems to build customer profiles and ran a rules engine over submitted transactions to trigger offers and redemptions. Hatch exposed a RESTful developer platform (the "Hatch HUB" API) that conformed to the JSON:API specification, with a public developer portal, API reference, and transaction-processing tutorials. The company was backed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Lightbank, NEA, and DAG Ventures, and was acquired by Stuzo around 2019-2020 (the earlier Belly product line was sold to Mobivity). As of this profile the hatchloyalty.com domain and all of its subdomains (www, developer, api) are parked and listed for sale, so no live API or developer surface remains to enrich.
Index entry only — little beyond a description and a link, and nothing machine-readable enough for an agent to act on without a human reading the site first.
Hatch Loyalty is tracked in the API Evangelist network. This page is the human-readable profile that sits on top of the machine-readable index we maintain at apis.io.
Every provider in the network is reduced to the same set of machine-readable artifacts — OpenAPI contracts, event specifications, GraphQL schemas, runnable collections, pricing and rate-limit signals, security posture, OAuth scopes, and the agent surfaces (MCP servers and skills) that let software drive the API on its own. We profile them because the interface is the part of a company you can actually inspect: it is a truer signal of what a provider does than any marketing page. From those artifacts we compute the Kin Score — Hatch Loyalty scores 6.3/100 (minimal), with a separate agent-readiness read of 0/100 (human only). The full breakdown is below, followed by every artifact we hold — each card links through to its machine-readable definition on apis.io.
Kin Score
This is the API Evangelist rating — a single, repeatable read computed from the artifacts on this page. Green fill is points earned; the red track is points possible, so every bar shows earned-versus-possible at a glance.

Hatch Loyalty is in the network as a tracked entity. We haven't yet indexed a public API surface for it — when one is published, the artifacts, score, and agent-readiness read will appear here automatically. The source repository is where that profile is built.
