LUMICKS
LUMICKS is a life-science instrumentation company that builds tools to directly measure molecular and cellular interactions. Its Dynamic Single-Molecule platform, the C-Trap, uses optical tweezers to resolve real-time biomolecular interactions at the single-molecule level, while its Cell Avidity platforms (Avidion and the compact z-Movi) quantify the binding strength between immune cells and their targets for immuno-oncology, CAR-T, and antibody-therapeutics research. The developer surface is client-side: the official Apache-2.0 Python library lumicks.pylake analyzes single-molecule optical-tweezer data exported from the Bluelake acquisition software (force calibration, force-distance curve fitting, kymo/scan imaging, kymotracking, population dynamics), and bluelake-scripting automates instrument control. LUMICKS publishes no hosted public web API.
More than an index entry, but the surface is still mostly links rather than artifacts — the cohort most likely to move a full band from modest, well-targeted work.
LUMICKS is tracked in the API Evangelist network. This page is the human-readable profile that sits on top of the machine-readable index we maintain at apis.io.
Every provider in the network is reduced to the same set of machine-readable artifacts — OpenAPI contracts, event specifications, GraphQL schemas, runnable collections, pricing and rate-limit signals, security posture, OAuth scopes, and the agent surfaces (MCP servers and skills) that let software drive the API on its own. We profile them because the interface is the part of a company you can actually inspect: it is a truer signal of what a provider does than any marketing page. From those artifacts we compute the Kin Score — LUMICKS scores 17.4/100 (emerging), with a separate agent-readiness read of 4/100 (human only). The full breakdown is below, followed by every artifact we hold — each card links through to its machine-readable definition on apis.io.
Kin Score
This is the API Evangelist rating — a single, repeatable read computed from the artifacts on this page. Green fill is points earned; the red track is points possible, so every bar shows earned-versus-possible at a glance.

The organization behind the API
LUMICKS is in the network as a tracked entity. We haven't yet indexed a public API surface for it — when one is published, the artifacts, score, and agent-readiness read will appear here automatically. The source repository is where that profile is built.
