Quirky
Quirky was a crowdsourced consumer-product invention platform (founded by Ben Kaufman) that let inventors submit ideas the community helped design, manufacture and sell; it was backed by a16z among others. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2015. As of this enrichment pass the quirky.com domain is a parked "domain name is for sale" page with no operating product, developer portal, or API surface.
