Stellation Capital

Stellation Capital is a Brooklyn-based pre-seed and seed venture capital firm founded in 2021 by Peter A. Boyce II, who spent eight years at General Catalyst and co-founded its student-founder program Rough Draft Ventures. Operating under the tagline "Backing Founders At First Light" and the thesis "Present Before Proof," Stellation raised a $40M debut fund and writes first checks of roughly $250K-$2.5M, leading and co-leading rounds for "philomath" founding teams whose identities are inseparable from the problems they are solving — across AI and personal computing, fintech, consumer software, online safety, climate/energy, and consumer health. Portfolio companies include Strobe Power, Revin, Tapestry, Hopscotch (acquired by Avalara), Software Applications Incorporated, swsh, Block Party, Hearth Display, and Vybe. Stellation is also a partner fund in Foundry Group's portfolio, which is how it entered the API Evangelist network. The firm publishes no APIs; this profile carries its identity and portfolio graph.

Stellation Capital is tracked in the API Evangelist network. This page is the human-readable profile that sits on top of the machine-readable index we maintain at apis.io.

Every provider in the network is reduced to the same set of machine-readable artifacts — OpenAPI contracts, event specifications, GraphQL schemas, runnable collections, pricing and rate-limit signals, security posture, OAuth scopes, and the agent surfaces (MCP servers and skills) that let software drive the API on its own. We profile them because the interface is the part of a company you can actually inspect: it is a truer signal of what a provider does than any marketing page. The full breakdown is below, followed by every artifact we hold — each card links through to its machine-readable definition on apis.io.

Stellation Capital is in the network as a tracked entity. We haven't yet indexed a public API surface for it — when one is published, the artifacts, score, and agent-readiness read will appear here automatically. The source repository is where that profile is built.
