Sunoco LP

Sunoco LP (NYSE: SUN) is a master limited partnership and the premier independent fuel distributor in the United States, distributing over 15 billion gallons of fuel annually to approximately 11,000 Sunoco and partner-branded retail locations and operating more than 160 terminals. Sunoco LP is affiliated with Energy Transfer (parent of Sunoco GP, the general partner). On November 3, 2025 Sunoco closed its $9.1 billion acquisition of Parkland Corporation (announced May 5, 2025), creating SunocoCorp LLC, which began trading on the NYSE under ticker "SUNC". The Parkland acquisition substantially expands Sunoco's footprint into Canada and additional international markets, adding Parkland's refining, retail, and commercial fuels businesses to Sunoco's North American distribution network.

Index entry only — little beyond a description and a link, and nothing machine-readable enough for an agent to act on without a human reading the site first.

Kin Score

API Evangelist profiles Sunoco LP the way a machine reads it — 14 machine-readable artifacts, pulled from the provider's own public surface and indexed so a developer, an analyst, or an AI agent can evaluate it against every other provider on the network.

Every provider in the network is reduced to the same set of machine-readable artifacts — OpenAPI contracts, event specifications, GraphQL schemas, runnable collections, pricing and rate-limit signals, security posture, OAuth scopes, and the agent surfaces (MCP servers and skills) that let software drive the API on its own. We profile them because the interface is the part of a company you can actually inspect: it is a truer signal of what a provider does than any marketing page. From those artifacts we compute the Kin Score — Sunoco LP scores 10.9/100 (minimal), with a separate agent-readiness read of 9/100 (agent aware). The full breakdown is below, followed by every artifact we hold — each card links through to its machine-readable definition on apis.io.

Kin Score

This is the API Evangelist rating — a single, repeatable read computed from the artifacts on this page. Green fill is points earned; the red track is points possible, so every bar shows earned-versus-possible at a glance.

Where this information came from

This is an independent, third-party profile of Sunoco LP, published by API Evangelist. We do not operate, host, resell, or support these APIs, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the company unless stated above.
