SendGrid is a cloud-based email delivery platform, acquired by Twilio in 2019, that provides transactional and marketing email at scale over an HTTP v3 REST API and an SMTP relay. The platform spans Mail Send, dynamic transactional templates, Marketing Campaigns (contacts, lists, Segments 2.0, Single Sends), email address validation, suppression management, domain authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), dedicated IP management and warm-up, subusers, Engagement Quality scoring, and detailed delivery statistics. Event data is delivered asynchronously through the Event Webhook and inbound mail through Inbound Parse.
